Portovenere (SP), 20 September 2020 - The curtain closes on the second act of the 2020 Melges 14 circuit and the victory goes to an extremely solid Alessio Muciaccia who, with partial results of 1-1-3, managed to leave behind on the podium the young Leopoldo Sirolli, winner of today's regatta, and Guido Sirolli, bronze medal.

In the Blue Sail fleet, the victory went to Luca Antonini with 4 points, followed by Davide Di Maio and Gustavo Vianna, tied with 7 points each.

The two days of regattas in Portovenere, partly concomitant with the event of the bigger Melges 20, were characterized by light wind conditions, which challenged the technical skills of boat handling of the fifteen participants.

Alessio Muciaccia, winner of the series of regattas in the Gulf of Poets, commented: “It is an emotion to be on the podium of this rapidly growing Class: in Portovenere we found ourselves racing in a pretty big fleet and I am confident the fleet will increase in number in the next events, giving everyone adrenaline and competitive regattas. Congratulations to all the participants, whose level of confidence with the boat increases from event to event, making the regattas even more fun”.
